Wiltshire Search and Rescue is the next Openwork Foundation Q3 grant beneficiary

23/11/2021

The Openwork Foundation are proud to share another of their Q3 grant beneficiaries.

Wiltshire Search and Rescue are a voluntary specialist search team, responding to emergency call outs to find vulnerable and missing people. They are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and are trained to operate across all types of terrain from the most remote of areas through to urban town and city centres. Their aim is to make our communities safer by delivering a world-class standard of Search and Rescue services, saving lives where every second counts.

The Openwork Foundation grant of £10,000 will contribute to the cost of replacing their Incident Control Vehicle. This vehicle and it’s new technology will allow Wiltshire Search and Rescue to take a highly sophisticated Search ICU to every corner of Wiltshire and beyond when called upon. By having the latest technology available, they will be able to shave vital minutes and seconds from their search response.

The Openwork Foundation is delighted to be able support Wiltshire Search and Rescue and this life saving project.

Wiltshire Search and Rescue was nominated for a grant by Simon Stannard, Openwork Partnership Adviser at Financial Planning Hub.
